2. Big John’s charming stage personality, gritty vocals and good time antics has won over audiences around the Twin Cities for many years. He is often described as a teenager in a 67 year-old body. Two years ago Blue Chamber released their self titled CD on Cannonball Records and began a non-stop touring schedule that has included several trips.

4. Sep 28,  · If you are a Blues fan, this CD should be on your must own list. Big John Dickerson belts out rockin' blues and also shows his soft side on the releases on this CD. I had the opportunity to see this band live before I found the CD. I was not in the least disappointed in the CD and am looking forward to catching their live act again/5(2).

7. John was in Down Right Tight with Paul Mayasich and Joe DeRasmi and many well know local musicians. The group was very popular and changed their name to Blue Chamber in John was lead vocals, Paul Mayasich/guitar/vocals, Scott David Miller/organ/piano, Jeff Rogers/drums, Joe DeRasmi/trumpet, Brian T. Simonds/tenor sax and John Wright/bass.
