4. Apr 11,  · Apt that Drugstore's debut album has come up for review now. This coming weekend sees the Glastonbury Festival and it was during the event that Drugstore first came to my attention. I think the song was "Superglider" but I can't really remember/5(9).

5. Really daft to review an album centuries after it's release. If you fit the category of someone who believes that the 'Indie' period, - , produced the most innovative music, you must immediately add this cd to your collection. I missed out on the band at the time, and the only access I had was the 'Super glider', track on a compilation cd/5(3).

6. Drugstore's music has been featured on four film soundtracks. "Superglider", from the album Drugstore, is used on All Over Me, and House of America, both released in "Fader", also from Drugstore, is featured on the credits of the film Cherry Falls.

With a sound scape at times reminiscent of Belle and Sebastian, (and the more mellow works from) The Velvet Underground, Pavement and Yo La Tengo, this is a truly sublime mix of out-and-out ballads interspersed with wall of sound climaxes.5/5(4).
